DK Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Joiners for a 26-week contract based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile marine project within a reputable and well-established team.
Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
PAYE Rate: £19.45 per hour + additional travel allowance applicable
Job Description:
* Outfitting work on vessels
* Fitting out mess decks and cabins
* Use of portable and fixed woodworking equipment
Skills & Attributes:
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Confident in reading and calculating measurements
* Experience working with hardwoods, softwoods, and plywood
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Previous experience in vessel outfitting is advantageous
* Must be able to obtain and hold security clearance
Education & Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Joinery-related qualification
