As our Learning & Development Manager, you’ll shape and deliver a learning experience that feels considered, relevant, and genuinely useful. You’ll balance long‑term thinking with day‑to‑day delivery, ensuring our people across retail and head office have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to grow.
This is a fantastic part‑time (3 days per week) opportunity for an experienced L&D Manager who enjoys both strategy and detail: creating the learning framework and then bringing it to life.
Key responsibilities
* Shape and deliver a clear, brand‑aligned L&D strategy, informed by annual training needs analysis, business priorities, and employee feedback.
* Champion a culture of continuous learning, encouraging curiosity, knowledge sharing, and a growth mindset across the business.
* Design and deliver engaging learning solutions across compliance, leadership, B Corp, and role‑specific training, using blended and digital‑first approaches.
* Build and maintain a high‑quality digital learning library and create accessible, on‑brand learning content.
* Own and optimise the LMS, ensuring training is effectively scheduled, tracked, and reported, with clear measurement of impact and ROI.
* Develop and evolve a modern digital learning strategy, embedding DEI principles and improving knowledge sharing across teams.
* Partner closely with Retail teams to deliver consistent, practical training across product knowledge, customer experience, and operational processes.
* Support talent and capability development by defining career pathways, enabling development planning, and contributing to succession planning and talent mapping.
* Design and deliver leadership development initiatives, skills frameworks, and coaching approaches to strengthen capability at all levels.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and deliver effective, relevant learning solutions.
* Manage external training partners and suppliers to complement internal capability.
* Own and continuously improve the onboarding experience to ensure new starters feel prepared and connected from day one.
* Manage the L&D budget effectively, maximising impact and exploring external funding opportunities where appropriate.

* Comfortable using data to evaluate impact and improve outcomes.
* Excellent self‑awareness, communication, networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and to build strong collaborative relationships within internal and external stakeholders.
* Passion, energy.
As an individual, you’ll be:
* Purpose‑driven, with a genuine passion for developing people to reach their potential.
* Collaborative and approachable, able to build strong relationships across the business.
* Curious and solutions‑focused, using initiative to navigate challenges and deliver outcomes.
* Tech‑savvy and always searching for new ideas to improve how learning is delivered.
* Resilient and adaptable in a fast‑moving environment.
* Commercially aware, understanding how L&D contributes to business performance.
* Willing to undertake occasional travel and overnight stays to deliver training in other locations.
