HR Manager - Manufacturing - Cookstown
Are you an HR Officer looking for the next step in your career? MCS Group is excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company, recruiting for an HR Manager to join their dynamic team.
Overview: As HR Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out all HR functions, aligned with broader business goals and strategies. This standalone role offers the opportunity to improve company performance and employee experience through HR processes.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of core HR administration, including onboarding, exit procedures, document management, and maintaining employee records on the HRIS. Respond promptly to related queries.
2. Manage end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing candidates and conducting interviews to extending offers.
3. Oversee graduate and apprenticeship schemes, collaborating with academic institutions to attract emerging talent.
4. Partner with leadership on talent strategy, performance review frameworks, feedback cycles, and initiatives to enhance staff development and retention.
5. Manage Learning & Development programs, planning and delivering training aligned with business objectives, coordinating with internal experts and external providers.
6. Provide support in employee relations, including managing absence, resolving grievances, and advising teams on HR policies and compliance.
7. Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, contributing to CSR efforts and fostering a positive organizational culture.
8. Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic HR projects to align HR practices with company goals and improve operational performance.
9. Identify skill gaps and workforce needs, recommending recruitment or internal development solutions for long-term capability planning.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a similar HR role within a relevant industry.
* CIPD certification or working towards it.
* Degree in HR Management or a related field is advantageous.
* Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
