What you'll do: Deliver a high-quality cleaning service across all areas as directed by your Supervisor or Manager. Maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming environment, ensuring all areas meet the required standards of cleanliness within agreed timeframes. Follow the cleaning schedule and complete periodic deep-cleaning tasks as instructed. Use safety signage appropriately (e.g. wet floor signs, trip hazard warnings) to keep colleagues and visitors safe at all times. Handle cleaning chemicals responsibly, following COSHH regulations and ensuring safe and economical use. Wear the correct uniform, PPE, and safety footwear, maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and professional conduct. Report any defective equipment or maintenance issues promptly to the Cleaning Supervisor. Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate supply requirements in a timely manner. Work safely at all times, following company Health & Safety procedures. Support colleagues and assist other areas once your core duties are completed. Continue developing your skills and knowledge within the role through training and teamwork. What you'll bring: Previous experience in a cleaning or service-based role (preferred but not essential). Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices within a workplace environment. Basic understanding of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling. The ability to work independently using your own initiative, while also contributing positively within a team. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and how to care for different surface types. A strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in delivering high standards.
