Job Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper will be:
3. Record, process, and reconcile supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
4. Ensure timely and accurate payment of supplier accounts
5. Create and issue customer invoices in line with agreed terms
6. Manage CIS returns and maintain accurate associated records
7. Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements
8. Carry out daily banking and bank reconciliations
9. Oversee general bookkeeping and maintain organised financial records
10. Provide financial support and insight to the company director and site teams
11. Assist with payroll preparation and processing as required
The Successful Applicant
12. Proven experience in a similar accounts role within the construction sector
13. Comfortable working in an SME business
14. Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts
15. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
16. Knowledge of CIS is essential
17. Experience with payroll is desirable, but not essential

18. Competitive salary £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)
19. Full-time, office-based role (40 hours per week, 8:00am - 4:30pm) with flexibility on hours
