Confidence in communication is essential, particularly when engaging with C-level executives and delivering technical demonstrations. A commercial mindset and the ability to align solutions with client budgets and compliance needs are also very important.
* Desirable qualifications include certifications from vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or Sophos, along with prior experience in project delivery or consulting before transitioning into pre-sales. An understanding of MSP models, including SLAs, recurring revenue, and professional services, would be a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
* As a Technical Consultant, you will be a key player in the pre-sales process, partnering closely with our sales team to understand client needs and shape technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading technical discovery meetings, translating client requirements into scalable solutions, and designing and presenting tailored IT solutions that address both business and technical needs. You will also be delivering compelling demos and proposals, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences, and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring strong relationships are built, particularly at the C-suite level. Staying updated with vendor technology and industry trends, especially from key players like Microsoft, Sophos, and Cisco, is also crucial to your success in this role.
