Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-standard hospitality establishment in the UK.
Core Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
* Lead and motivate a diverse team to ensure high levels of staff engagement and performance.
* Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service is maintained throughout the property.
* Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
* Monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost controls in alignment with business targets.
* Maintain compliance with health & safety, licensing, and other legal regulations.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
* Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and effectively.
* Build strong relationships with suppliers, travel partners, and local community stakeholders.
* Prepare regular operational and financial reports for senior management or ownership.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in hotel management or a senior hospitality leadership role, ideally within the UK.
* Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest satisfaction metrics.
* Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
* Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Protel, or similar systems).
* Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
* Flexibility to work across shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Right to work in the UK is essential.
