An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Microbiology in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
The post-holder is expected to contribute to the broad range of laboratory and clinical roles within the department including laboratory oversight, report authorisation, diagnostic and antimicrobial advice and stewardship and ward consultation, in addition to teaching and training responsibilities.
Applicants should have full and specialist registration with GMC with a licence to practice, FRCPath (or equivalent), and hold a CCT(or equivalent) in Microbiology or a joint CCT(or equivalent) in Microbiology and Infectious diseases, or be within 6 months of the registration / CCT at the time of interview.
