Account Manager - German Speaking | Stevenage, Herts | Hybrid | Full Time | £30,000

Essential skills:
* Excellent oral and written communication in English
* Demonstrable track record of successful business to business (B2B) selling
* Highly organised and structured in approach

* Proven capability to meet targets and deadlines

* Experience of using a CRM system (Salesforce a plus)
* Strong computer literacy (standard suite of MS Office personal productivity tools)
Desirable expertise:
* Fluency in a second European language is highly desirable (German, Spanish or other European languages specifically)
* Min 2-3 years’ sales experience
* Experience in the life sciences industry desired
What will your role look like?
* Serve as the lead contact point for clients in your territory
* Establish, nurture and grow trusted, consultative relationships with client stakeholders
* Secure new business from existing relationships and prospect for new contacts, leads, and opportunities
* Negotiate sales that satisfy client requirements and maximise profit
* Build a pipeline of business and manage this throughout all stages of the sales cycle to ensure timely delivery of reports or services
* Collaborate with internal teams to propose and deliver appropriate services to meet your clients’ needs
* Be conversant in the full range of the company’s services
* Enter, maintain and manage records in Salesforce, according to the process and to the quality standards defined in our SOP
* Monitor and track key account metrics/KPIs (e.g., monthly/quarterly revenue, renewal rates, win/loss ratio)
* Be responsible for an annual sales revenue target
* You will travel, as attendance at Trade shows, Conferences as well as potential visits to client locations is required
