Job Title: Residential Childcare Worker (Ad Hoc / Bank) Location: Kinross Salary: £15.50p/h - £19p/h (PAYE) Contract: Flexible / Bank Hours: Variable shift work and block bookings availableAbout the Role: 21 Health and Social Care is actively recruiting experienced and compassionate Residential Childcare Workers on an ad hoc / bank basis to support a variety of clients across Residential Childcare. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible working arrangements while making a real difference in the lives of children and young people.Our clients include a wide range of residential childcare providers supporting young people with complex needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, trauma backgrounds, and learning disabilities.Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to children and young people in residential settingsSupport with day-to-day routines including personal care, education, activities, and emotional supportPromote a safe, nurturing, and positive environmentWork collaboratively with permanent staff and external professionalsMaintain accurate and timely records in line with care plans and organisational policiesSupport young people in developing life skills, independence, and healthy relationshipsWhat Were Looking For:Experience working in a residential childcare or similar care setting is essentialStrong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed approachesAbility to build trusting, professional relationships with young people and staffFlexible, reliable, and able to adapt to new environments quicklySVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) & HNC in Social Services or equivalent is desirableSSSC registration (or willingness to register) requiredPVG Scheme membership required (or willingness to join)What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay (PAYE no umbrella companies)Flexibility to choose shifts that suit your scheduleOpportunities for longer-term block bookings with consistent clientsOngoing support from our friendly, experienced teamPotential to work across multiple services, gaining varied experienceReady to Apply?
