Extensive knowledge of high-voltage electrical construction projects, encompassing overhead lines, substations, and cable systems. Deep understanding of construction techniques, materials, and their associated costs. Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Proficiency in using relevant cost planning and estimating software (CANDY and Cost-X). Professional membership (CIOB, RICS, ICE, etc.). Experience in project risk assessment and contingency planning for regulated companies. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
