We are exclusively instructed and retained by a well-regarded boutique law firm based in central London that is seeking to grow its team with the strategic hire of a litigation lawyer. The firm specialises in high-value disputes and is known for its commercially focused approach. The practice acts for a broad range of clients including corporates, directors, shareholders, and insolvency practitioners. The successful candidate will advise on a variety of matters including complex contractual disputes, fraud claims, shareholder and director conflicts, and contentious insolvency matters, many of which have cross-border or international elements. You will be working in a small team and working closely with the founder of the firm. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with around two to three years' post-qualification experience, although applications from those with one to four years' PQE will also be considered if they demonstrate relevant experience. Some exposure to insolvency litigation is required, alongside a solid foundation in general commercial disputes. You should be confident handling client relationships and possess a commercial mindset, with an interest in developing your network and contributing to business development. This role may suit an ambitious lawyer from another boutique practice (or mid-sized practice) in London or from a rated regional law firm and looking for a role in the capital. A stable career history is sought. The firm offers a collaborative and collegiate working environment, with a good work/life balance by typical London law firm standards. To be considered for this position in the strictest confidence, please submit your CV or contact Philip Jennings, Director. Please note that where a level of preferred experience or qualification is indicated, this is a guideline only and does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience. Jameson Legal acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
