We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for works across Dorset, Hampshire, and Sussex for a well-establihsed and leading regional civil engineering contractor. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage multiple contracts from inception to completion ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. - Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. - Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and the identification of new business opportunities. - Manage project costs, resources, and timelines, providing regular updates to senior management and clients. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. - Review and negotiate contracts and variations, ensuring the company's interests are protected. - Attend site meetings and conduct site inspections to ensure projects are progressing as planned. * Resolve any contractual or technical issues in a proactive and efficient manner. Requirements: - Proven experience in a Contracts Manager within the residential sector only - A clear understanding of budget control and contract administration. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Knowledge Regarding the NHBC Regulations. - A strong track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Full understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices. - A relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management - A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional results. - A full UK driving licence.
