Role: Senior Architectural Technician
Location: London (Hybrid / Remote)
Rate: £27–£35 per hour
Sector: Residential & Commercial Projects
The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join a dynamic and growing practice based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial schemes, contributing to projects from concept through to delivery. The role offers hybrid working, combining office collaboration with flexibility from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality technical drawings and packages using Revit and AutoCAD
- Assist in the development of design proposals across residential and commercial projects
- Ensure technical compliance with UK building regulations and planning requirements
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver efficient project outcomes
- Prepare construction details, specifications, and tender documentation
- Support project delivery through all RIBA stages
- Contribute to design coordination and problem-solving during project development
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician within the UK
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Ability to produce accurate technical drawing packages
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working across multiple RIBA stages
- Knowledge of planning processes and submissions
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and standards
- Experience liaising directly with clients and external consultants
- Awareness of sustainable design principles
- Previous experience in a hybrid working environment
