About the Role

Formalised learning (on a block release model) will run at our college partner premises interspersed across the scheme duration with the balance of time being spent on a placement rota across professional teams at our office premises. From solving operational issues and troubleshooting against tight timelines, processing diagnostic data, developing engineering solutions/designs to complex issues for future incorporation to the diligent compilation of technical documentation. The engineering apprenticeship programme provides a structured and approved pathway to a professional engineering career that spans multiple disciplines. The programme sets out to provide both theory and practical experience under the Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Level 3 pathway to develop both deep knowledge but also broad perspective to set a firm foundation from which to progress. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in multiple functions and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) business in the delivery of customer requirements.
2. Challenge convention, questioning the ‘norm’ and encouraging the business to innovate
3. Build your Continuous Improvement skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma basics training and owning/implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Become an active member within a team of Entry Level Talent (Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in wider business projects through our culture hub. The scope of these projects will provide you with valuable team working experiences and opportunities to enhance presentation skills.
