Data Protection Officer

Permanent, Full Time (Part Time considered)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Protection Officer to join our team. This is a new role designed to enhance our data and compliance standards.
As our DPO, your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring The Pioneer Group complies with all relevant data privacy laws and requirements.
* Creating and overseeing the company's data protection frameworks and controls.
* Developing a culture that values data governance and compliance.
* Acting as the main point of contact for internal colleagues, customers, and external regulators.
* Developing and delivering training on data protection.
* Processing Subject Access Requests efficiently and within deadlines.
* Advising colleagues on their obligations under UK GDPR and other data laws.
* Supporting colleagues with key documentation such as Data Processing/Sharing Agreements, DPIAs, and Impact Assessments.
About you
We are seeking a data protection professional with accreditation in data protection and risk management. You should have prior experience in data protection, work independently, and be confident in your abilities.
You will possess in-depth knowledge of GDPR, excellent attention to detail, and a methodical approach. Strong communication skills are essential to clearly convey complex information and ensure understanding and compliance across the organization.
