We’re looking for someone with at least 3-5 years’ PQE and solid commercial law experience who’s ready to take the next step in their career. The Role You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking team working with a diverse range of clients – from ambitious start-ups and entrepreneurs to charities, SMEs and privately owned businesses, and UK subsidiaries of multi-nationals. Your work will be varied and stimulating, involving the drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements and terms. You will tailor bespoke agreements and licences, advise on IP, IT and data protection matters, provide corporate support, and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, including the rapidly evolving capabilities of AI and forthcoming legislative changes. This role offers genuine opportunities for progression as the team continues to grow, with clear scope to take on increased responsibility, develop specialist areas of interest and play a key part in shaping the future of the Business Team. You will be required: - Build and manage your own caseload of matters while handling delegated work confidently Provide high quality support to senior lawyers in the Business Team and collaborate across other departments, such as Commercial Property, Employment, Charities, and Dispute Resolution Represent the firm at networking events, proactively building new relationships and identifying opportunities for growth Help develop, mentor and support junior team members About you 3-5 years’ PQE in commercial law, ideally gained in private practice or in house A proactive self‑starter with exceptional attention to detail Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities A strong team player who builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues Confident client-facing with good business development skills Good presentation skills Commercially minded -skilled in analysis, negotiation and delivering clear, practical advice We offer S alary: Competitive Office: Maidenhead / Swindon / Newbury Hours of work: 9.00am - 5.30pm Other Benefits: Flexible Leave (Holiday) Policy, pension, life assurance, medical health cash plan & discount portal with Virtual GP & wellbeing tools & advice.
