About the Role As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for every customer who visits our café. Working alongside our Café Manager, Supervisors, and experienced catering team, you'll support the smooth day-to-day running of the café. From preparing and replenishing display counters to assisting with food preparation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, you'll help ensure every aspect of the customer journey exceeds expectations. This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires flexibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach. You'll confidently move between tasks, helping to deliver excellent service while maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that makes The Mill Café such a popular destination. About You You are a friendly, approachable, and customer-focused individual who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy environment. You will ideally have previous customer service experience within a catering, hospitality, or retail environment, along with a basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
