QUANTTITY SURVEYORS – AUSTRALIA

We are currently seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors to work across various projects in Australia. There are opportunities in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide plus regional/rural roles also available.
These roles offer great career prospects with privately-owned tier 1 and tier 2 contractors as well as consultancies who have secured major pipelines of work worth billions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the procurement of subcontractors including preparing, issuing, adjudicating, recommending & awarding subcontract and supply agreements with detailed input from engineering & construction team.
Preparation and submission of progress claims and ensuring their timely payment.
Subcontract management including receipt and processing of subcontract interim payment claims & final accounts.
Process claims for variations and additional entitlement to time & money.
Prepare, submit & agree contractual claims for time & money.
Manage and participate where necessary in the preparation, submission & agreement of variations.
Advise the project management team on contractual issues & initiate correspondence.
Prepare, review & submit reports to prescribed timescales (including equipment and cost reports).
Review change management.
About you
A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial Law or Construction Management.
Previous experience in a similar role having worked for major construction contracting companies.
An ability to measure will be highly regarded.
A high level of technical and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills along with your ability to liaise confidently with a variety of internal and external stakeholders will be highly regarded.
A results-driven and collaborative approach to work.
