Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Reliability is a key factor in the recruitment process and you must be prepared to work hard as we operate a busy high volume establishment.
Schedule
We are offering full time hours for the right candidate, availability at weekends is essential and 4-day working week an option. You must be available to work over the Christmas period, we are open every day except January 1st.
Shifts are typically between the hours of 11am-10pm, however this could vary depending on business needs.
Tips are excellent and paid weekly.
Duties
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Help with the delivery and storage of food supplies.
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards hospitality service.
* Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities within the kitchen environment.
* Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
