Our market-leading EMEA Business Services sector coverage team is responsible for the origination and execution of public and private M&A and capital markets transactions involving corporate and financial sponsor clients in the broader business services sector. The team has a network of relationships with the most prominent business services companies and investors in the EMEA region across various subsectors, including Professional Services, Testing/Inspection/Certification, Facility Services, Infra Services, Engineering, Distribution, Security, HR services, and others.
As an Associate in the EMEA Business Services Investment Banking coverage team, you will play an important role in maintaining strategic dialogue with key clients and executing M&A, equity, and financing capital market transactions. You will be pivotal in deal execution as well as marketing and client coverage, working with senior bankers and analysts in the team. There will also be opportunities to partner with colleagues from country and product teams (M&A, ECM, Leveraged Finance, etc.).
Job responsibilities
1. Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions.
2. Interact with senior team members and client management teams daily to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
3. Define, guide, and review detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analyses.
4. Define, guide, and review detailed financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations.
5. Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to analysts.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* European language skills (besides English).
* Investment banking or PE experience in the Business Services sector.
This role involves regulated activities. The successful candidate will need to meet regulatory requirements regarding fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and obtain necessary approvals from relevant regulatory authorities.
