If you’ve got strong behaviour management and enjoy working with teenagers, this could be right up your street.
We’re working with secondary schools looking for reliable Cover Supervisors to step in when teachers are away. You’ll deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and keep lessons running smoothly, no planning required.
What you’ll be doing
Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-prepared lesson plans
Maintaining calm, purposeful classrooms and managing behaviour confidently
Reinforcing school routines, expectations, and behaviour policies
Dealing with low-level disruption and knowing when to escalate
Supporting pupils to stay engaged and focused on their work

Strong behaviour management and the ability to set clear boundaries
Calm, consistent, and resilient when things get challenging
Experience working with young people is essential
School-based experience is ideal, but not always required
DBS on the update service is needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
