Electrical Shift Technician
Salary: £50,000+ Excellent Overtime Opportunities
Shift: Continental Days & Nights 7am - 7pm 7pm - 7am
Responsibilities
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems in accordance with the CAFM system and site regulations.
* Conduct fault-finding, diagnosis, and repairs on a wide range of electrical assets, including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, UPS systems, and fire alarms.
* Perform statutory testing and inspection duties to ensure the facility remains fully compliant.
* Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to identify and respond to any electrical alarms or issues.
* Issue permits-to-work and supervise specialist sub-contractors, ensuring they adhere to strict health and safety standards.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out.
* Act as a key member of the shift team, ensuring a safe and efficient handover between shifts.
What We're Looking For
* Essential: City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent NVQ/BTEC qualification).
* Essential: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
