The Role:
Perform a variety of nursery tasks including plant propagation, potting up, watering, and maintaining plants.
Undertake regular weed, pest, and disease control activities as required.
Ensure proper plant care, health, and growth, following industry best practices.
Prepare and batch orders for customers or internal use as directed.
Support all aspects of the nursery operations, including inventory management, equipment maintenance and cleanliness of nursery facilities.
Engage respectfully with colleagues and clients and offer a higher standard of customer service.
Adhere to all work health and safety (WHS) guidelines and best practices and display a commitment to a safe workplace.
About You:
Certificate III in Horticulture (desirable), or equivalent skills and experience in a Nursery Assistant or similar role.
Basic knowledge and skills in plant care, propagation, plant identification and pest & disease identification.
Customer-service focused with strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
