About the Role As Teacher of History, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver well-structured lessons that develop: Secure historical knowledge across a range of periods and themes Disciplinary thinking, including causation, significance, and change over time Source analysis and interpretation through structured practice Strong extended writing through modelling and purposeful feedback GCSE success through deliberate practice and clear exam technique You will work closely with colleagues to plan effectively, share resources and ensure pupils experience a well-sequenced curriculum that supports long-term understanding. The Department The Humanities department is supportive and collaborative, with shared planning and consistent approaches to assessment.
