Location: Office-based in Bangor, North Wales.

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Compliance Engineer to provide technical consulting services to regulators, manufacturers, and engineering staff. The role involves reviewing and evaluating technical compliance matters, acting as a conduit between regulators and laboratory testing teams to ensure tests are performed correctly and to regulator satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Provide customer service/support to regulators and suppliers.
* Evaluate submission files for regulatory concerns and provide determinations.
* Handle incoming reviews and critical modifications.
* Perform outgoing reviews and technical evaluations.
* Assess issues and bugs, develop certification report disclosures.
* Review documentation related to submissions and testing, demonstrating understanding of products.
* Maintain current regulations and jurisdictional profiles.
* Stay updated on industry standards and jurisdictional process changes.
* Review new verification utilities and procedures from a compliance perspective.
* Develop and maintain procedural documentation, forms, and test scripts.
* Collaborate with engineering teams on technical questions.
* Provide technical training and workshops.
* Use JIRA to track projects.


Qualifications

* Two- or four-year degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related technical field.
* Experience or competency may substitute formal education.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service-oriented.
* Ability to assess issues, find solutions, analyze results.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a team.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
