Offer description

Be Part of Something Transformative

Join Rape Crisis South London, part of the London Sexual Violence Alliance, at a time of significant change and growth. With a new CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and a bold and inspiring vision, this is a pivotal moment for our organisation as we lay the foundations for a new era and prepare to launch our next organisational strategy. We are a specialist charity supporting survivors of sexual violence across twelve South London boroughs, providing counselling, group therapy, advocacy, and prevention education, alongside training for professionals. Our work is rooted in over four decades of feminist, trauma-informed practice, and a commitment to ending male violence against women and girls. RCSL forms part of the London Survivors’ Collective. The Alliance brings together 225 years of expertise and experience and represents a bold, visionary and survivor-centred resource. The Alliance consists of eight members. Seven are organisations that have historically, and or currently, provide support for victims/survivors. MOPAC is the eighth member, primarily sitting at the oversight and leadership governance level. Each organisation remains an independent charity, united by shared values and purpose. The London Survivors’ Collective Alliance are recruiting temporary Counselling Intake Officers to support the teams to mobilise a new service model.

Please apply with an up-to-date CV and cover letter (of up to 1000 words) identifying how you meet the essential and any desirable qualifications, skills and experience. Tell us about your preferred working pattern (full time, part time, days etc)

Applications should be received by Friday 5 December, interviews will take place on 16 / 17 December.

The post-holder will share responsibility for promoting and upholding the organisation’s safeguarding standards. This includes ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and adults at risk; recognising and reporting concerns promptly; following all safeguarding policies and procedures; and contributing to a culture in which everyone feels safe, respected, and supported.
