* Position HR as a strategic business partner within client groups, partnering with business leaders to ensure HR strategies align to overall business strategy, performance and objectives.
* Work with the senior HR team to develop the HR function and ensure that it is meeting the strategic objectives of the firm.
* Develop strong relationships with client groups and a good commercial understanding of how the business operates, strategic drivers, and financials, ensuring support is aligned.
* Collaborate with CoEs and other HR BPs to develop and implement effective people initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a positive organisational culture. This includes driving engagement with employee surveys, analysing feedback, and supporting the business to implement action plans to address areas of improvement.
* Partner effectively with the Centres of Excellence to understand their offering. Work with CoE’s to develop HR solutions which support the objectives of the practice areas.
* Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement strategic workforce plans that align with the organisation's goals and objectives. This includes identifying future workforce needs, skills gaps, and succession planning.
* Drive stakeholder discussion and decision making around complex transactional work.
* Utilise HR analytics and metrics to inform decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives. Continuously assess and adjust strategies based on data insights.
* Coach and support Partners, Managers and Team Leaders in their development of their people management skills.
* Work with the wider business to ensure initiatives and solutions have full support ahead of implementation. Influencing and supporting change management across the practice.
* Working with the senior HR team and the business on various change-management projects within the firm.
* Oversee the execution and management of cyclical activities, including, Talent Management, Performance Moderation, Salary Review, Engagement Survey, Promotion processes.
* Propose creative and commercial ideas that may lead to better strategic decisions.
* Work with the practice areas to ensure the most appropriate structure is in place to meet the strategic aims. Advise, plan and deliver on re-organisations, restructurings, redundancies and transfers as required.
* Work with and support the HR Advisors as appropriate on the implementation of various policies and practices including family leave, flexible working, mentoring, equal opportunities, headcount management, and dismissal.
* Work with the senior HR team to communicate and share expertise with the wider team.
* Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by supporting in addressing/mediating employee concerns. Ensuring performance management and employee relations issues are addressed promptly and appropriately, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
* Manage complex employee relations, address grievances, and mediate conflicts.
* Proactively address workplace challenges and drive positive organisational change to foster a committed, high-performing workforce.

* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably legal or professional services
* Experience in working within a matrix structure with delivery through COEs within a HR function
* Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* Ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making
* Strategic thinking and planning
* Talent management and development
* Organisational development and change management
* HR functional expertise
* Commercially astute and a good understanding of the practical application of HR
* Graduate or equivalent and ideally GCIPD qualified
* Strong influencing skills and able to build credibility quickly with the ability to inspire confidence and respect at all levels

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering
