Clinical Director - Ayres Veterinary Hospital
Practice Site:
1. Ayres (North Shields)
Ayres (North Shields)
Ayres Veterinary Hospital is on the move and will soon need a Clinical Director to ensure that the opportunities this move presents are maximised.
Having occupied the same premises in North Shields for 45 years we are moving to a new purpose built location in the area. The new location boasts of the highest build quality including all the usual equipment including CT providing clients, their pets and staff with a first class experience. The addition of a stable, adaptable, resilient and progressive team, many of whom have been here for 20 years or more gives an opportunity to expand a successful practice. There will be scope to provide referrals and expand the existing out of hours provision.
The clinical team has 6 vets, 2 AVPs and one working towards certification. All are skilled in various disciplines and capable of sole charge and provide out of hours cover. The RVN team of 6 is experienced and provides vital input to the clinical services. Our SVNs and PCAs are capable and provide imperative support to the clinical team.
We have a full reception team, many of whom have also been here for a long time, providing excellent client service while supporting the clinical team. The Practice Manager offers strong support and leadership at all levels to our team. Therefore, you will get a stable, skilled, progressive team anxious to maximise the potential of the new premises.
I am the current Clinical Director here and have been in this position since CVS Group has acquired Ayres Hospital back in. I hope to continue in a clinical position and would be happy to support anyone appointed.
What we need is a clinically ambitious leader, who can enable the team members to achieve their individual goals while ensuring the practice flourishes. A non-judgemental, non-hierarchical management style would be essential to maintain team cohesion. In addition, we need someone who will communicate effectively with regional and national colleagues.
