We’re the largest UK asset manager outside London or Edinburgh, and we provide innovative investments that deliver sustainable returns over the long term.\n\nThe role – what you’ll be doing\n\nAs an Assistant Company Secretary your role is hugely important and will include:\n\n * Working closely with the wider Governance team to support the Board and its committees;\n\n * Forward meeting planning;\n\n * Preparation of Board packs using Adobe and Diligent;\n\n * Minute taking;\n\n * Supporting the Annual General Meeting (AGM);\n\n * Implementation of Non-Executive Director (NED) induction and training processes;\n\n * Supporting the annual governance programme, including Board and committee governance reviews;\n\n * Advising colleagues on governance matters.\n\nAbout you - and the value you’ll bring to our team\n\nThis role would suit an individual who is CGI (ICSA) qualified or part-qualified or a governance professional wishing to make a start on the chartered secretary journey.\n\nWhilst you will need to have some practical company secretarial or governance experience to hit the ground running, you do not need to have worked within the financial services sector or for an FCA regulated organisation previously to be considered.\n\nWhy join Border to Coast?\n\nAt Border to Coast, you will receive competitive remuneration and have access to excellent benefits:\n\n * Vitality Health Insurance for all employees\n\n * Employee Assistance Programme\n\n * A generous holiday allowance of 30 days a year, plus bank holidays\n\n * Professional Development including the opportunity to gain fully funded qualifications (e.g.
