Overview
Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Senior Facilities Officer to assist the Facilities Management Team to maintain an attractive, safe, clean and welcoming College as well as a calm purposeful learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Be the single point of contact for all requests for repairs, faults, and other maintenance requests from staff, ensuring that all faults are logged on the College helpdesk system.
* Undertake weekly inspections of the building and report defects to the Facilities Manager.
* Work with and oversee contractors and be able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
* With a working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and procedures, identify and implement improvements in existing procedures and systems.
* Can work alongside and deputise for the Facilities Manager as and when required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience within the facilities industry.
* Working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
