Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Witham Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide targeted English and Maths intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students Create tailored learning plans to address individual student needs Monitor and assess student progress regularly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialism in English and Maths Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English and Maths (UK curriculum) Experience working with Key Stage 3 students Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using various teaching resources and technology Experience in delivering targeted interventions Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work in a learners home setting or local library Collaborate with other educators and support staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
