The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Legends Tour, Challenge Tour and the newly created G4D Tour (golf for the disabled). We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.
About the role:
The main purpose of Partnership Sales Manager is revenue generation for the Amgen Irish open through partnership (sponsorship) sales and lead generation for Ryder Cup 2027.
* Location – Homebased in Ireland with travel to local clients and
* Weekend work and/or irregular/unsociable working hours sometimes required.
* This is a 12 month FTC with a possibility to extend
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the sales efforts in Ireland for the Amgen Irish Open, generating maximum in-market revenue.
* Undertake the lead generation for partnership sales, working with broader Commercial Partnership Sales team and Championship Director to identify target lists
* Support the Ryder Cup 2027 with lead generation, working in conjunction with Ryder Cup Commercial Director.
* Collaboration with Head of Commercial Inventory and Championship Director to create agreed partnership packages and uncover new sales assets.
* Hosting of prospects at the Amgen Irish Open.
* Reporting and tracking via Salesforce of all sales opportunities, aligned to the overall DP World Tour commercial strategy.
* Creation of sales decks and term sheets in conjunction with Commercial Partnership Sales Team.
* Collaboration with the DP World Tour Partnership Management Team in onboarding of new partners for the Amgen Irish Open and collaboration with TCX hospitality sales team to align on targeting / prospecting.
The Ideal candidate:
* Sales experience – ideally sponsorship sales or similar, within Ireland
* B2B sales experience
* Existing network of contacts - ideally
* Sports industry experience - ideally
