The Role & Key Responsibilities
Job Title : Commercial Manager
Site Location: Melmerby or Peterborough – UK (Hybrid)
Permanent: Monday – Friday – one to two days per week onsite
We are seeking a dynamic commercial manager to spearhead our sales efforts and forge solid partnerships with key customers and partners.
Your mission will be to identify new opportunities, provide top-notch technical and commercial support, and propel our growth trajectory forward.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the driving force behind sales to key account customers, both ABN and Premier Nutrition
2. Spot and seize new business opportunities, leveraging your technical prowess to push product sales and expand market reach.
3. Dive deep into the business’s value drivers, uncovering avenues to boost revenue and market share.
4. Collaborate closely with our commercial and technical teams to supercharge key customer management.
5. Be the linchpin of communication with all major stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and moving towards our business objectives.
6. Ensure that you are aware of commercial activities, ensuring they meet or exceed targets and drive efficiency.
7. Craft and execute strategic plans to nurture and grow accounts within various customer segments.
About you:
8. You are a communications expert, exuding credibility, and confidence.
9. Great negotiator with a flair for innovation and entrepreneurship
10. You are a person who excels in multicultural environments and are driven by results.
11. Keen interest in Agriculture and/or Animal Feed – would be desirable.
12. A proven track record of building robust relationships in commercial settings.
13. Collaborative by nature, you thrive on working with others to deliver a great service.
14. You have a positive attitude, and you are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
15. You are organised and detail-orientate, yet flexible when faced with the unknown

16. With a hybrid work setup and exposure to international markets, you will have the chance to make a real impact while enjoying diverse content and dealing with a multitude of customers.
17. Travel to either the Melmerby - HG4 5HP or Peterborough site will be required, one to two days per week.
