The team

Our Global Markets Off-cycle Analyst programme provides interns with exposure to Prime Brokerage and Account Management. The programme mirrors the role of full-time account managers, offering a hands-on experience with hedge fund clients, servicing accounts, exploring commercial opportunities, and identifying efficiency improvements to reduce risks and enhance processes.


Programme Overview

Off-cycle interns participate in a 12-month programme within Account Management in Prime Brokerage. You will gain exposure to life in Account Management, strengthen relationships with hedge fund clients through excellent servicing, seek opportunities to drive business, and proactively spot efficiency improvements.


Responsibilities

* Client relationship management – support clients in trading new products/markets and explore cross-selling opportunities.
* Platform management – assist with efficiency and data projects.
* Risk and regulatory – work with risk teams on collateral management and with product teams on regulatory projects.
* Client profitability – collaborate with finance teams to maximise revenues and asset yields.
* Operations management – work with operations teams to ensure optimal client experience across systems and platforms.

As an off-cycle intern, you will be given responsibilities early and expected to contribute significantly to the team and clients you support.


Training and Development

Your training and development are a top priority, with extensive formal training at programme start, plus on-the-job support, speaker events, and mentorship throughout the internship.


Eligibility

* Pursuing a four-year degree with a sandwich year in industry; expected completion September 2027 – July 2028. Evidence of completion may be required before offering employment.
* Minimum 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent).
* Available to join the programme June 2026 – June 2027.

Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2028; some lines of business may offer January or April start dates if offered. Deferrals are not available.

* Open to diverse degree disciplines (arts, humanities, economics, mathematics, etc.).
* Fluency in English; a second European language may be required for some roles.
* Demonstrated drive, innovation, and genuine interest in financial markets.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and grasp a wide range of products.
* Teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, creativity, and strong communication skills.
* Integrity, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions.
