Our friendly and professional Radiology Department offers a full range of MRI, CT, and general imaging services, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent clinical outcomes. The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate Band 5 MRI & CT Radiographer to join our dynamic cross-sectional imaging team. You will support the delivery of high-quality MRI and CT examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. Key Responsibilities * Perform high-quality MRI and CT examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R regulations and departmental protocols. * Ensure safe and effective operation of MRI and CT equipment, including adhering to MRI safety procedures. * Communicate clearly with patients, relatives, and colleagues to provide an excellent patient experience. * Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. * Maintain accurate imaging records and contribute to audit and quality assurance activities. * Support the training and development of student radiographers and assistant practitioners. * Follow departmental health and safety guidelines, infection prevention measures, and safeguarding policies. Essential Criteria * BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification. * HCPC registration (or pending for new graduates). * Good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. * Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. * Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and on-call shifts. Desirable Criteria * Previous experience in MRI and/or CT (training will be provided for suitable candidates). * Understanding of current developments in cross-sectional imaging. * Demonstrated interest in CPD and further modality-specific training.
