Children’s Home Registered Manager
Location: Rowley RegisSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Contract Type: Full-Time, PermanentHours: 40 hours per week (including on-call responsibilities)
Our client is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead their 3-bed children’s residential service in Rowley Regis, supporting children and young people with learning disabilities.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the service meets and exceeds the requirements set by Ofsted and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. You will lead by example, build a positive and professional culture, and ensure each child receives the care and support they need to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide effective leadership to the staff team and create a child-centred, high-quality care environment
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding legislation, and relevant policies and procedures
* Develop and implement individualised care plans for each young person
* Support, mentor, and supervise staff, promoting continuous learning and improvement
* Lead on inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes
* Manage the home’s budget, staffing, and resources efficiently
* Build and maintain strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
* Ensure timely reporting and recording of all incidents, safeguarding concerns, and outcomes
Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare - Essential
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting - Essential
* Strong understanding of the needs of children with learning disabilities and complex needs
* Proven track record of leading a team to achieve Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
* In-depth knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* Full UK driving licence - Preferred
