Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor to join a busy commercial organisation based in Salisbury, to support a UK and international workforce across EMEA, Latin America and the Pacific.
The RoleA true HR Generalist role with a lot of variety, where you will be providing hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle to the UK and International workforce while working closely with the HR Director to support HR strategy, engagement and global initiatives. Key responsibilities will include
Recruitment
1. Support end-to-end recruitment activities across the business
2. Advertise vacancies, arrange interviews and manage recruitment administration
3. Liaise with agencies and external partners
4. Ensure immigration and right to work compliance
5. Prepare contracts and new starter documentation
Payroll, HR Administration & Reporting
6. Support monthly payroll processes, including data submission and reconciliation
7. Manage HR inboxes and respond to queries and references
8. Maintain HR records and systems with accuracy and confidentiality
9. Update employee records on HR systems
Employee Relations
10. Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
11. Handling absence management
12. Support grievance, disciplinary and conflict resolution cases
13. Ensure compliance with local and international employment legislation
Performance, Reward & Development
14. Support performance appraisals and performance improvement plan
15. Assist with compensation and benefits administration
16. Advise on pay equity, compensation trends, and regulatory requirements in different countries
17. Help identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives
18. Coordinate learning, training and development initiatives
19. Promote employee development and career progression
HR Compliance & Projects
20. Support compliance with global HR policies and labour laws
21. Policy Development updates
22. Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership
23. Contribute to international HR projects, expansion and global initiatives
24. Contribute to employee engagement activities including events, newsletters and communications
Candidates Requirements
* Experienced HR Generalist - HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor with a background of working within fast-paced environments, ideally with some international exposure (desirable – EG Europe, Middle East)
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law (international exposure desirable)
* Able to work across the full employee life cycle from HR Administration through to ER, Recruitment, Training, Engagement, Reward and HRIS/Reporting.
* CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Confident communicator at all levels
* Strong IT skills (MS Office; HR systems and SharePoint an advantage)
* Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Additional language skills (Spanish, French or Italian) are advantageous.
