Factory Operative Job Details; £12.50 per hour to start rising to £13.50 per hour when permanent 39 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7am-4.30pm & Friday 7am-11.15am 20 days holiday bank holidays increasing to 33 days after 12 weeks 4% employer pension Life assurance Excellent staff discounts on products Cycle to work scheme Temporary to Permanent Free parking & Canteen facility on site Factory Operative Role & Responsibilities include; Working on autosaws and clippersaws cutting bricks full training will be given Using various hand tools Ensuring the correct materials are being used Loading products onto drying trucks Recording the amount/type of bricks made each day Working to targets All other associated tasks as required by the Factory Manager Person Specification; The role involves general labouring so you must be physically fit Able to stand for the duration of your shift and happy to complete repetitive duties Co-ordination of hand and eye movements is necessary to produce a good quality product A good team player Strong attention to detail with good Quality Control skills If you are interested in the role as Factory Operative, then please apply now by sending your CV to us.
