Overview
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. This role is for a Tesco colleague who will help serve shoppers, work across store areas, and be part of a diverse team. The role offers flexibility, potential for progression, and a minimum of guaranteed hours.
Availability and hours
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work (availability windows). We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times closely match but do not exactly align with the advertised times.
Pay: Tesco Colleague rate starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is Tesco policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; opportunities exist for working fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) as well.

About Us
Our vision at Tesco is to become every customer’s favourite way to shop. Our core purpose is “Serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day.” Diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) means everyone feels represented and welcome at work. We welcome chats about flexible working and support for life moments. We’re proud to be Disability Confident Leader and offer an accessible recruitment process.
