We are now looking for a Head of Finance to join our world class company. Candidates must have a good understanding of Finance and be someone who is competent working with clients, customers and colleagues of all levels of seniority.

Role Fundamentals - What you will do?
* Day to day management of other members of the finance team and being a point of escalation.
* Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
* Month end tasks including fixed assets, commission, accruals and prepayments, stock adjustments etc.
* Preparation of supplier payment runs.
* Preparation of payroll information for submission to outsourced provider, including pensions.
* Ensure compliance with payroll and pension regulatory requirements
* Working to improve current processes though the introduction of new ideas and new technology
* Reporting on the company's finance performance to the SLT
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Cash management and cashflow forecasting
What you will need to succeed?
* Great knowledge of finance fundamentals, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable and accruals-based accounting.
* A minimum of four years practical experience in finance roles
* Proven ability to manage and support a small team.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Great communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience using both finance platforms, e.g. Xero, Dext, online banking, etc. and non-finance platforms, e.g. Office 365.
* An eye for detail and take great pleasure in having everything organised and reconciled.
Hours:
Permanent full-time role, some hybrid working with expectation to attend the office 3 days per week. May consider 4 days a week for right candidate
