Location: Omagh

Hours: 39.75 Hour Week


Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Regional Sales Manager.

As a Regional Sales Manager at Terex based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in supplying equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.


What you’ll do:

1. Further develop, implement and coordinate a sales and marketing strategy in line with the organisation’s growth targets.
2. To secure sales orders for machines and parts in line with agreed targets, whilst striving to maintain or improve company sales margins.
3. To identify, appoint and assist in the development of new dealer accounts, where appropriate, within the region.
4. To develop, implement and manage sales and marketing initiatives for dealer accounts within the assigned region, in a highly professional capacity, respecting company confidentiality at all times.
5. To develop and agree annual business plans for each dealer account, providing regular documented feedback on progress vs plan throughout the year.
6. To ensure all dealer accounts are formally contracted, current and aligned to Terex Standards.
7. To establish dealer sales targets and provide forecasts for machines and parts sales, in line with the annual business plan.
8. To work directly with dealer accounts and company parts representatives to drive parts sales and improve dealer service levels.
9. To train and advise dealer staff (or end users) on company products, machine applications, services, warranties and basic aspects of technical sales.
10. To proactively liaise with other company functions to ensure dealer accounts have access to engineers, field service and other team members as necessary.
11. To carry out ongoing research of local market and business activity and identify new opportunities for current and future products.
12. To receive feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new products and convey information to engineering and marketing team members for research and consideration.
13. To gather and collate regular local submission of market data in line with agreed input targets.
14. To actively participate in establishing and tracking dealer / end user customer satisfaction levels.
15. To attend trade shows, dealer conferences, and exhibitions and play an active part in marketing activities as appropriate.
16. Extensive International travel will be involved.
17. To adopt and/or assist with implementation of any new management techniques, systems, processes or reports as appropriate.
18. To ensure compliance with Terex and local laws and advise Terex Finlay of any contradictions with company policies and good business practices.
19. To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.

Experience & Qualifications:

20. Professional level practical knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales
21. Significant direct experience of managing dealer accounts within the capital equipment construction business is preferred, although not essential
22. Ideally fluent (to professional business level) in the following – English (Additional languages would be an advantage)
23. In-depth technical, sales and applications knowledge of Crushing and Screening products
24. Excellent interpersonal skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers
25. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
26. Excellent problem-solving skills to develop sales strategies
27. Thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages
28. Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of large teams
29. Time and Territory Management practices must be exceptional.
30. Need for commercial and innovative thinking
31. You must be goal and result orientated with the energy, perseverance and commitment to drive forward sales to our Dealers and their customers.
32. Significant international travel is required to assigned territories.
