We are working with a fantastic Andover-based company seeking a Senior Management Accountant. The role offers a hybrid working pattern and other benefits.
As Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual financial accounts and budgets. This includes reconciling and reporting all Marketing accounts (digital and traditional) and the CEO's promotional accounts. Your role also involves processing all finance-owned condition contracts, testing new processes, and supporting the Claims team.
You will have:
* ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent.
* Minimum of three years' experience in a finance department.
* At least two years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of reconciliation work, management accounts, and budget preparation.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing quarterly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet analysis.
* Producing accurate year-end accounts and assisting with statutory financial statements.
* Creating the annual budget as directed by the Group Finance Manager, including implementing changes.
* Preparing VAT returns five days before the deadline, ensuring timely submission.
* Assisting with the annual audit, fulfilling requests on the auditors' system.
* Line managing the accounts assistant, including approvals for WFH and leave, and ensuring office coverage.
* Maintaining all legal and financial documents accurately and timely.
* Managing commission credits promptly and investigating any issues.
