About the Role
Due to the ongoing success and growth of one of our clients they are seeking a Driver Training Manager to lead on the induction and training of new staff as well as supporting the transport department with general compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Vehicle Safety & Compliance: Daily Vehicle Inspections, Load Security, Maintenance Reporting
?? Regulatory Adherence & Driver Oversight: Tachograph Compliance, Infringement Retraining
????? Driver Development & Training: Onboarding Management, Assessment & Induction
??? Safety Leadership & Incident Management: Incident Investigation, Safety Promotion
?? Policy Development & Communication: Documentation
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working in a similar role as a driver trainer with continued passion and desire to support others in the industry
* In-depth understanding of tachograph regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD) compliance.
* Class 1 driving licence, with previous experience driving commercial vehicles.
* Proficient in vehicle checks and defect reporting procedures.
* Strong planning and organisational abilities, with the capability to make sound decisions and perform effectively under pressure.
