Recruitment Officer Role Overview: Career Opportunity in Talent Acquisition We are seeking a motivated, organised, and dynamic Recruitment Officer to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on attracting, sourcing, and securing high-quality candidates for our clients (local, regional, and national) to recruit apprentices across a range of funded and commercial opportunities within our chosen sectors. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards and supporting our mission to develop talent that makes a positive impact in the education and care sectors. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment, Candidate Management, and Staffing Solutions Develop, advertise, and manage job postings using a variety of sourcing channels to attract diverse candidates. Screen CVs/applications and conduct pre-interview assessments to ensure candidates meet the role requirements and values of our client's organisations. Coordinate and conduct initial interviews with potential candidates, providing a professional and engaging candidate experience at all times. Liaise with our clients to understand their staffing needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions. Maintain and update all internal systems accurately and efficiently. Support all apprentice eligibility checks. Book, facilitate, and attend required apprenticeship and business events Generate business with new & existing clients. Provide regular updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Build and nurture talent pipelines for current and future recruitment needs. Cross-departmental working. Manage business enquiries to ensure prospective learners are provided with appropriate information, advice, and guidance. Promote an inclusive recruitment process, championing equality, diversity, and safeguarding across all activities. Candidate Profile: Ideal Skills and Personal Attributes for Recruitment Professionals Strong administration and organisational skills, including workload management techniques. Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial. Strong interpersonal and communication skills—capable of building effective relationships and engaging with candidates from varied backgrounds. Organised, detail-orientated, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, predominantly Excel, and all internal systems. Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and the safeguarding of learners and staff. Adaptable and proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Requirements for Recruitment Officers Demonstrably high level of written and spoken English. Good communication skills and telephone manner. Influencing skills, confident with questioning and prospecting Ability to problem solve. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Full Driving Licence. Eligibility to work in the UK.
