Workday Business Lead
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Contract: Outside IR35
Day rate: Up to 650 per day

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Lead with Workday implementation experience (Core, Recruitment, Learning, Advanced Compensation specifically). This role will suit someone who has acted as a Workday Business Analyst or Workday Change Manager.
Acting as a bridge between Workday methodologies and their internal HR language and ways of working, you will ensure the HR team fully understands key concepts, workflows, and deliverables. You will proactively identify risks and issues, working closely with the HR Project Lead and key stakeholders to resolve them and maintain momentum towards a future-ready HR function.
Skills & Experience
- Support the HR Project Lead with delivery of all key project workstream activities, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan and milestones.
- Translate Workday-specific terminology, methodologies, and workflows into clear, practical guidance for the HR team and other stakeholders.
- Act as a key point of contact between the implementation partner, HR team, and wider business to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies related to the HRIS implementation and work collaboratively with the HR Project Lead and stakeholders to address them promptly.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and upskilling within the HR team to embed Workday ways of working into everyday practice. Getting us Workday ready!
- Ensure all HR deliverables (data, processes, policies, documentation) are fit for purpose and aligned with Workday best practices and organisational requirements.
- Engage and collaborate closely with HR subject matter experts, the people leadership team, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution design meets current and future needs.
- Provide clear updates and status reports on workstream progress, risks, and actions to the HR Project Lead and project governance forums.
- Maintain a forward-focused mindset, continuously scanning for opportunities to future-proof processes, enhance user experience, and ensure sustainability of the solution post go-live
