Job Summary
The Hotel General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining profitability and efficiency. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, implement policies, and drive the hotel's success in a competitive market. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hotel experience and a passion for hospitality, along with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and staff.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
* Manage and mentor department heads to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
* Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel and increase occupancy rates.
* Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation meet brand standards.
