Vision for Education is currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant for an SEN school based in Bournemouth. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position starting ASAP. You MUST have experience within an education setting, preferably with SEN/SEMH children.
You will be skilled at engaging and motivating students who find learning and communicating challenging, both in the classroom and during intervention sessions.

* Full-time position
* Salary: £17,000 - £19,000
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support pupils who require additional assistance.
2. Help pupils develop into independent learners, ensuring progress in learning and emotional well-being.
3. Assist pupils in accessing tasks and activities they find challenging.
4. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with diverse needs.
5. Help implement lesson plans and adapt materials as needed.
6. Support testing and assessment alongside the teacher.
7. Liaise with parents and monitor pupil progress in conjunction with the teacher.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
1. Has extensive SEN experience.
2. Has experience working with SEMH students and supporting children with complex needs.
3. Is confident working with students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges and challenging behaviour.
4. Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about supporting pupils with additional educational needs.
5. Has experience engaging students with behaviour and communication needs.
6. Possesses a strong background in English and Maths.
