Teaching Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Outskirts of Kettering, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Contract: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a confident, proactive Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school on the outskirts of Kettering. This role would suit someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and able to make an immediate impact from day one.
The Role:
Providing in-class support across KS3 and KS4
Working confidently with individuals and small groups to support learning
Supporting behaviour management and maintaining focus in lessons
Assisting teaching staff with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Offering targeted support to students with SEN or SEMH needs where required
The Ideal Candidate:
Has previous experience working with secondary-aged students and can hit the ground running
Is hands-on, proactive, and confident managing classroom situations
Builds positive relationships quickly with both students and staff
Has strong communication skills and a calm, consistent approach
Holds a valid DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
Is able to reliably travel to the outskirts of Kettering
