Salary: Up to £55,869 (depending on skills and experience)
What you'll be doing:
* Fault finding and diagnostics on robotic and industrial processes
* Working on and supporting bespoke ICS solutions to ensure each asset remains fully operational
* Experience working with and programming electrical control systems
* Preparation, review, and maintenance of documents, read and understand electrical schematic diagrams
Essential:
* Experience and demonstrated knowledge programming specifically Siemens PLC's, HMI's and Drive systems through the use of Step 7, WINCC flex, TIA Portal and Simotion Scout
* Experience of Programming Siemens Safety PLC's, programmable PILZ units and the use of safety relays in general
* Experience working with automated manufacturing processes
Desirable:
* Degree or BTEC (HND/HNC) in Electrical/Electronic/Control Engineering or similar subject
Sites Services Team:
As a Software & Automation Engineer you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Industrial Control Systems (ICS) which are used to control engineering systems, machinery and processes in both a non-hazardous and hazardous areas of operational functions
Your role is to ensure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely. You will also modify existing systems, improving them to make them safer and more efficient.
You will have proven experience working on industrial control systems, robotics and manufacturing processes.
